DIY: Boarding Pass Invitations, Pocketfolds and Water Labels

I have known that I wanted to do a lot of things on my own for my wedding, and invitations are no exception. Why pay someone hundreds of dollars to do it for you when all it takes is a little time? I guess you have to love the thought of doing it yourself, which I do and is why I spent almost 6 hours printing invitations and making pocketfolds from card stock, then putting them all together. Thank goodness we are having a very small wedding! My mom came to my rescue to help me glue them, but really it was a labor of love for me.

I loooove the boarding pass invites, so I bought mine from etsy seller 'I do' it yourself and printed them out at home. Jennifer was great to work with and had a fast turn around on the file. I just bought some nice cardstock and passed it through the printer. So much cheaper than having someone do the whole process for you (you can actually do them all yourself and create a template, but it was so cheap to get the premade template done that i just made sense to me)
I really just cut a sample invitation and then shaped a sheet of white paper around it to see how I needed to cut my pocketfolds. Then I cut and placed the template on each sheet of cardstock I used, cutting right around the shape.
Fold up all of the sides and glue together. I used tacky glue and it worked perfectly fine.

Add some ribbon and you're good to go!

I also printed out some water bottle labels. I did a google search and came across this link on the weddingbee forum, which led me to a template. I am going to put those on in place of the other labels on each bottle and stick them in the OOT Bags that I make. I found the translucent paper at Joanns and just need to figure out what kind of glue to use to secure them on.
