Since I started eating less calories, I have actually lost 2 pounds. Its been about two weeks, and that's a pretty good mark to have hit. I do think that I could do better though, so today I am starting the Lemonade Diet/Master Cleanse that I hope to stay on for about 5 days. It is a mix of lemon juice, cayenne pepper, water and grade b syrup, along with a laxative tea once a day. I am modifying it a bit by letting myself have a veggie burger patty for dinner each night, so that I can get 20-30 minutes in at the gym also. I am aware of just how crazy this is/sounds, because its only been a few hours and my mouth is watering at the thought of anything that is edible right now!
I know that I will mainly be losing water weight, but in the past it has been a good jump start for me. When I feel lighter and thinner, even just from losing water, I am more inclined to eat better and exercise because I want to keep up that feeling. This is always a hard thing for me to do since I love food and hey, we need it to survive, but I think I should be able to make it to Friday night and not completely quit. I cannot promise that I will be nice though, I am already in a crappy mood and frowning all over the place, ready to snap at the first person who talks to me! Oh, the price of beauty, I really think that we need to look into creating contacts with the skinny mirror effect and making them mandatory for all people!
