Well, Now I'm Discouraged

Yesterday I ran with Erin and it was awful. My stomach was cramping on both sides and at the end I really felt like I was going to throw up. I know that I didn't drink enough water...I had maybe 2 glasses the whole day since our bathroom is closed on this floor, and I was so bloated, when I was done I burped up a storm! All I could think of while running was that there's no way I could ever run a half marathon. God, I could barely make it 4 miles! Today I am drinking a lot of water and got back on eating better, but I am just completely discouraged and thinking that I just set the bar too high. Now I just don't know what to do.


  1. You do what you just wrote. You drink more water, eat better, and maybe set the bar a little lower. You learn from your experience. What you DON'T do is give up. Life isn't a linear path. You hit a dip. Get past it. :)
