Drop Biscuits a la Mom

Yesterday was nice and cool, finally. When you stepped outside you could feel the breeze wrap around you and tell you that fall is here. No more high 80's, no more 90's! I decided that I would make Chicken Pot Pie and Drop Biscuits, from my mom's recipe book. When I think of the colder weather I often think of these things, and Adam was certainly impressed that I was making biscuits from scratch.
Drop Biscuits
makes 12
2 cups Flour
3 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
5 tbsp Shortening
1 cup Milk
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Mix in shortening and then the milk. Drop onto a baking sheet with a spoon.

Bake for 15 minutes and serve warm.
