Meal Plan

Happy Thursday! I hope that everyone has a fun weekend to look forward to and great weather to go along with it. Adam leaves Sunday afternoon for a work trip to Dallas but will be back Monday - today and tomorrow I will be at the DMV and Social Security office doing my name change! I have all of our pro pictures back and will be sure to post those sometime as well - we got some really great shots and I've already framed many that are now on our mantel and walls.

I have been trying to figure out our meals and food budget (we are really trying to save right now and with certain fees regarding very important personal matters we are on a pretty tight budget) and have been setting aside $150 a week to cover food/drink expenses. This allows for a night out and overages are just an added bonus to savings. This week I think our total should be around $90 for 6 nights.

Friday:
D- Spaghetti with whole wheat pasta, italian sausage and a garlic loaf

Saturday:
D- either leftovers or going out

Sunday:
D- Lean cuisine for me!
Baking - I am going to try out a Chocolate Chip Challah Bread

Monday:
L- PB&J for me (Ive been having a craving) and Baby Carrots
D- Pulled Pork, Red Onion, Bell Pepper and Pineapple Quesadilla with steamed broccoli

Tuesday:
L - Tuna Fish Pita, Baby Carrots, Slice of Challah
D - Chicken, bacon, cheddar and ranch club on Pretzel Rolls with Parmesan Orzo
Baking - Pretzel Rolls! Hopefully they come out ok

Wednesday:
L- Chicken sandwich on Pretzel Rolls, Baby Carrots - or lunch in the cafe here (about $5 for the 2 of us)
D - Grilled Chicken breast, broccoli and roasted mini tri colored potatoes

Thursday:
L - Sandwich, baby carrots and banana
D - Stuffed Bell Peppers (sausage, stuffing, rice)
